Cross Country Skiing!

Robert and I went cross country skiing for the very first time at Reinstein Woods on Monday.  It was a nice day for it and we had all the right accoutrements with us to keep us comfortable. 

We saw this cute little mouse of some sort.





We also saw a couple of turkeys in the distance and two red tailed hawks flying.  The hawks screeched their distinctive call.  Did you know that in movies when they show an eagle flying or some other type of raptor bird, when they sound that screech, it's actually the screech of a red tailed hawk?  So next time you watch a movie and see an eagle, but hear the screech of a red tailed hawk, know that hollywood is just doing what it does best - making stuff up :)
